Fireworks tonight!

This year’s fireworks event will take place this evening, Saturday November 7th , when we hope for another fabulous display. 

Timings 

6.30 pm - Bonfire lit. Free sparklers can be collected from resident volunteers near the gate - please dispose 

of them in the bucket provided.  

650pm - Garden gate will close.Please ensure all guests are within the garden by this time.

7 pm  Firework display ( 20 minutes) followed by a second display in neighbouring Crescent garden at 730pm

Access to the garden will be restricted to resident keyholders and their accompanied guests. If your guests are not accompanied by a keyholder they will be refused entry. Please bring your own food and drink but all glassware (bottles and glasses) is prohibited for everyone's safety. 

All spectators must keep behind the safety cordon throughout the event and keep a safe distance from the bonfire. Residents are not permitted to let off fireworks in the garden or on private patios and residents are reminded not to watch the fireworks from  balconies which are near the launch area and keep windows closed and pets indoors. 

We hope to illuminate the lights in the large plane tree but residents should note that the current scheme has failed and new lights will be installed over the winter. Residents are also advised to be careful underfoot as the excessively dry weather has taken its toll on the lawns and repairing them will be one of the major jobs for our gardeners over the winter. 

We had a few comments about last year's bonfire, so this year Jan has hopefully done great work to ensure the fire lasts a little longer and everyone can enjoy it.

We also have two security guards on site for everyones wellbeing so please follow their instructions should this be necessary.
