​During 2025 the first event on Sunday 8th June 2025 was a great success as we took part in the London Open Gardens weekend.  Read our report on the Blog.

​The Formosa Summer party was on Saturday 28th June 2025.  Activities included bouncy castles for younger kids and a challenge course for slightly older ones and for the brave - a Rodeo Bull Ride.  Pony rides were on offer and face painters arrived to put glitzy makeup on all the little faces.  Mikey, the magician, brought his tricks, magic and laughter to Formosa garden.  The day finished with traditional sports day games with caricaturist Ivo on hand to capture the likeness of party goers with a few deft strokes of his pen.

The evening program included DJ Vinyl Jen.  Pizza was provided by Pizza Host, and Raimundo’s ice-cream van took his usual slot.  Complementary lemonade was offered by our sponsors Your Dental Wellness.

 

​​The Winery joined us on Saturday 30th August 2025 with a collection of fabulous wines for residents to enjoy in the garden.  We are grateful to Savills Estate Agents for their generous support of this event.  This year the event featured roaming acoustic band The Rock & Strollers sponsored by Hyperoptic full fibre broadband.  Hyperoptic have an attractive introductory offer to their services, exclusively for Formosa residents.
 

​The garden hosted a dramatic bonfire and Firework display on Saturday 8th November 2025 supported by Winkworth Estate Agents.

 

EVENTS in 2026 ....

Confirmed dates so far​

• Sunday 7th June 2026 : Formosa will participate in the London Open Gardens weekend

• Saturday 20th June 2026 : Formosa Summer Party.  This date is provisional awaiting confirmation of a resource to organise this.  This is scheduled in partnership with Crescent Gardens who will celebrate the following week and residents may wish to attend both events.

• Saturday 7th November 2026 : Formosa Bonfire & Fireworks​
