Formosa has had a busy summer programme in 2023 : open gardens, Coronation Lunch, wine tasting and the family fun day.  Our most recent event was the successful screening of Breakfast at Tiffany's - a magical end to the summer kindly sponsored by retirement living specialists Wallacea Living.  As the season draws to a close there is just one more social engagement for your diary.

On Saturday 4th November 2023 we will host our annual firework display.  This year is sure to be 'a blast!' with an extended display, designed by the creators of the Brit Awards after-party fireworks, "Firework Crazy". Plus, we are delighted to reveal new and improved illuminations for our beloved plane tree, marking the beginning of the Christmas countdown.

If you have wood for the bonfire, please leave it on the mound from Monday 30th October 2023.  Timings for the event are as follows.

• 18.30 : the bonfire will be lit

• 18.50 : the gate to Castellain Road will be locked

• 19.00 : fireworks commence

• 19.30 : display finishes.  The big plane tree is illuminated with new lights.
