...If so please sign the new petition to Westminster City Council to get it pedestrianised, set up by local resident John Gregson with the support of our local Labour Councillor Sara Hassan. The short stretch between Warrington Crescent & Castellain road is not needed as a through route for traffic & the thinking is that pedestrianisation would create a safe space for people to shop, eat, socialise & generally support our vital local businesses. To sign the petitition you will need an account with Westminster which you may need to create. If more than 500 people sign up the Council will be obliged to debate the idea. There have been two such petitions in the past but both got short shrift from the then Conservative administration. However the current Labour-controlled Council has a budget for such schemes & this one would chime nicely with their declared strategy of giving more priority to people as opposed to cars.
The Formosa Wine Tasting on Thursday 15th August 2024 is now fully subscribed. However residents may still visit the Wine Tasting Page to add their name to the waiting list for returns. You can also attend on the night and purchase tickets for £15 each.
We are excited to announce that the Formosa Garden will be hosting an outdoor film screening on Sunday, September 15th 2024. This is a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community, enjoy the beautiful garden, and watch a fantastic film under the stars.
But first, we need your help to decide which film to show! We want to ensure that everyone has a chance to see a movie they love, so we are inviting all residents to participate in the selection process. You can vote for as many or as few films as you like. The film with the most votes will be the one we screen at the event.

The winning film will be announced at the beginning of September, so you’ll have plenty of time to get excited about the upcoming screening.
