As all public-spirited dog-walkers will know once you've taken the trouble to bag up your dog poo the correct thing to do is to take it home with you, but instead this unwelcome package was lobbed into a patio garden on Sutherland Avenue some time during the night of August 22nd. The rules regarding pets on Formosa Garden are exceptionally liberal & the vast majority of pet-owners observe them scrupulously & clearly don't want to see them tightened, but the actions of a maverick like this don't help. If you were the person responsible please don't do it again!

Join us for the much-anticipated Formosa Wine Tasting on Saturday, 30th August, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Enjoy an afternoon of flavour and fun as The Winery (Clifton Road) presents six exquisite wines to sample, followed by a full glass of your favourite. To complement the tasting, cheese and wine will be provided, and residents are warmly encouraged to bring along their own picnic.
This event is generously sponsored by Savills Estate Agents (Maida Vale office).
🎶 New this year: Enjoy live music from the roaming acoustic band The Rock and Strollers, adding a lively soundtrack to your afternoon. The band are sponsored by Hyperoptic fibre broadband who have an introductory offer exclusively for Formosa residents.
👥 Each household is entitled to 2 complimentary tickets. Additional tickets will be available to purchase on the day for £15 each.
📌 Please note: Tickets are first come, first served—last year’s event was fully booked, so don’t miss out!

Westminster City Council is proposing to introduce a contra-flow system for cyclists on a series of one-way streets in the Borough, including Castellain Road between Formosa Street & Lauderdale Road. Residents have expressed concern that allowing cyclists to ride against the direction of traffic will be confusing & potentially downright dangerous, particularly at the busy junction with Sutherland Avenue, & may end up diminishing the availability of parking spaces.
Comments or objections should be sent to tmo.westminster@wsp.com quoting reference 8139/HWB by July 30th.
